Unit 1 of the Jiangxi Ganneng Shanggao 2×1000MW Clean Coal Power Project, equipped with a turbine-generator set supplied by HTC, has successfully completed its 168-hour reliability test run
At 10:18 on September 18, Unit 1 of the Jiangxi Ganneng Shanggao 2×1000MW Clean Coal Power Project, equipped with a turbine-generator set supplied by HTC, successfully completed its 168-hour full-load reliability test run. Throughout this trial operation, the unit maintained stable operating conditions with all performance parameters meeting excellent standards. This achievement marks a critical step toward the project's ultimate goal of "dual-unit commissioning."

The two turbine-generator sets for the Ganneng Shanggao project are 1000MW-class ultra-supercritical, double-reheat, single-shaft, five-cylinder, four-exhaust-flow, reaction-type condensing steam turbines supplied by HTC, equipped with 1220mm-class last-stage moving blades. These units incorporate multiple core technological achievements, including a high-efficiency reaction-type flow path, inner casings for the ultra-high/high-pressure sections sealed with shrunk-on rings, and an integrated bearing support system. Breakthroughs in steam parameters and the regenerative system have been achieved, enabling dual innovations in performance optimization and operational flexibility. The thermal performance and flow path efficiency rank among the industry's most advanced, with energy utilization efficiency reaching industry-leading levels. The units offer advantages such as flexible start-stop capability, secure and stable operation, and convenient maintenance, providing a solid foundation for long-term, efficient operation.
